PDP stalwart, Saka Mabro speaks on Osun West election, flays Ajibola Bashir

By Owolabi Labode

A revered bigwig of the Peoples Democratic Party,  PDP,  Prince Saka Oyedeji,  popularly called Mabro on Wednesday expressed confidence  on the electoral victory of the party 's senatorial candidate for Osun Central  senatorial district,  Alhaji Gani Olooluwa.

He berated the candidate of All Progressives Congress,  APC,  Dr.  Ajibola Bashir for what he termed sheer arrogance and lack of respect for elders,  arguing that he would meet his electoral waterloo come Saturday.

Mabro noted that the political atmosphere was in favour of the PDP at the National level,    adding that the presidential candidate of the party,  Alhaji Atiku Abubakar would win the presidential poll convincingly without blemish with damning and ignominious defeat for APC.

The PDP chieftain noted that his decision to leave the APC and threw his weight behind the political struggle of PDP to wrestle power was hinged on his conviction that the APC was not for the superior interests of the masses,  unlike the political orientation of PDP, which tailored towards the emancipation of the downtrodden.

"Bashir Ajibola should be cautioned,  no individual with that level of arrogance and high level of disrespect enjoys the support of the people and turn around lives of the people for the betterment of the whole.

" We are resolute with our position,  the Osun Central district is for PDP,  the APC will experience greatest experience of ignominious defeat,  the personality of their candidates is a waste,  that character of Ajibola Bashir is indeed a misfit, his candidacy is not acceptable to all and sundry.

" We are also happy to have the candidacy of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who is  generally acceptable to the majority of Nigerian populace as the messiah of  downtrodden and the less privileged.

" In Osun Central senatorial district,  Alhaji Gani Olaoluwa remains an enviable enigma of robust political strength,  political dexterity and untainted personality,  with high level of acumen.

" I am a conscious figure in the political permutation of the state,  we are convincingly on ground in the Central  senatorial district to deliver the political arena to the PDP come Saturday", Oyedeji said.
