Osun students protest suspended lectures, says enough is enough
Students of Osun State College of Education (OSSCE) Ila Orangun, on Thursday morning, stormed the entrance of the school protesting over the suspension of lecturing activities in the institution.
It was gathered that the lecturers commenced strike since Monday, a week after the resumption of second semester.
The students were seen holding placards with inscriptions such as, “End bad management”, Isaac Oyewole Enough is enough, OSSCE Ila is going backwards under your administration.”
The students were worried over the strike after spending about four months at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the Students’ Union President of the Institution, Olarewaju Tajudeen noted that it has become the custom of the college to go on strike whenever the school is preparing for examination.
He called on the management to quickly see to the demand of the lecturers in other to commence work.
