Two Suspected Motorcycle Robbers Set Ablaze In Osun


Some yet-to-be identified commercial motorcyclists in Ile-Ife on Friday set ablaze two suspected motorcycle robbers.

NEWDAY gathered that the incident happened around 3 pm at Lagere area in Ile-Ife.

The suspected motorcycle robbers were set ablaze after they successfully snatched a  motorcycle from the owner.

It was gathered that Okada riders at the scene pursued and nabbed the suspects.

The suspected armed robbers were consequently roasted alive.

Confirming the incident, spokesperson of the Osun Police command, SP Yemisi Opalola said that the suspects were set ablaze before the arrival of the Police.

“The suspected armed robbers were pursued and nabbed by a group of Okada riders and they were set ablaze before the arrival of the patrol team,” she said.
