Police Arraign Man 24, For Allegedly Stealing N2.1m

A 24-year-old man Ahmed Fadulilahi has been arraigned by an Osogbo Magistrates' Court for allegedly stealing N2.1m.
The accused person committed the offence in December 2020 at Osogbo.
The prosecutor, ASP Taiwo Adegoke told the court that the accused person stole the sum of N2,178,500( Two million, one hundred and seventy eight thousand five hundred naira) from Capital cook bakery in Osogbo.
The offence committed contravened section 390 (9)(6) of the Criminal Code CAP 34 vol 11 law of osun state Nigeria 2002.
However, the accused person pleaded not guilty to the allegation slammed against him.
Defense counsel B.O Odutola prayed the court to grant his client bail in the most liberal terms.
In his rulling Magistrate Isola Omisade granted the accused person bail in the sum of N1 million with two sureties in like sum.
The Magistrate said the sureties must be residing within the court jurisdiction and the police should verify the addresses.
The case was adjourned till March 24, 2021 for rulling.
