Missing Vanguard Reporter Found Dead

The Vanguard Newspaper has confirmed the death of its reporter, Tordue Salem, who went missing last month.

The newspaper reported that the mystery behind the death and recovery of his remains were sketchy as of 9.30pm on Thursday.

The deceased who was a correspondent of the Federal House of Representatives was last seen around Total filling station, close to the Force headquarters in Abuja.

It will be recalled that an alarm was raised the day after he was last seen when his whereabouts became unknown.

A suspect, Prince Enyenihi, 25, has been arrested for attempting to extort the reporters family. 

It was gathered that the suspect sent a text message to the deceased's wife with a concealed number demanding N100 million as ransom.
