Oyetola's Visit To Ife North Federal Constituency Will Be Remarkable, Historical—Prince Binuyo


The Chairman, Mineral Resources and Environmental Management Committee, (MIREMCO) who also double as Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) Elders Forum of Ife-North in Osun State, Prince Omolade Binuyo, has on behalf of the people of Ife North Local Government area of Osun State welcome the Governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola to Ife North Federal constituency in continuation of his familiarization tour of the state.

Prince Binuyo said the visit of Governor Oyetola and his entourage on Friday to Ife North federal constituency will be remarkable and historical 

He thereby urged the residents of the area to troop out in large number to receive Mr Governor.

According to the APC Chieftain, the people of Ife North have enjoyed real dividends of democracy through the administration of Governor Oyetola, stressing that the Governor’s welfare programmes have reached all the nooks and crannies of the state.

Some of the dividends of democracy according to Prince Binuyo includes, "refurbishment of all our health care centres, monthly distribution of food to all vulnerable in the local government, return of school uniforms to all our secondary schools in our local government and prompt salary payments to government workers among other".

"On behalf of the citizen of Ife North, we appreciated Mr Governor for the refurbishment and tarring of our major roads that runs across through the major towns  in the local govt from Moro junction, Yakoyo, Ipetumodu and Ashipa"

Binuyo made a passionate appeal to Mr Governor to refurbish and Tar the road to Akinlalu township for him to complete his good work for the betterment of the residents in the communities.

He said his visit to the area would also serve as opportunity for the him to see things by himself.

Governor Oyetola will be visiting the Federal constituency in continuation of his
familiarization tour of the state ahead of the primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC) scheduled for next month.

" I advice the entire residents of Ife North Local Government area to give Governor Oyetola and his entourage rousing welcome and be law abiding before, during and after the visit of our August visitors " Prince Binuyo added.

Prince Binuyo however, enjoined the people of Ife North to troop out to welcome the amiable governor at Ipetumodu Market Square on Friday, February 11, 2022.

While welcoming Governor Oyetola to the
federal constituency, Prince Binuyo said “we wish our amiable Governor success in all his endeavors".

Lawal Approves 28 Games For Osun Sports' Festival

Osun State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Yemi Lawal has approved 28 different sports for the upcoming sports fiesta that will cut across the nooks and crannies of the state. This is contained in a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the Sports' Council, Mrs Funmilayo Moradeyo on Wednesday. The approved sports are; football, volleyball, basketball, handball; hockey, cricket, table tennis, chess, ayo olopon, draft, scrabble, boxing; Taekwondo and kick- boxing. Others are; Para- powerlifting, konfu, karate, judo, wrestling, swimming, athletics, badminton, squash, cycling tennis and weightlifting. The commissioner in a meeting with the Sports Council staff, coaches and local government sports coordinators, observed that "it is high time we started to develop sports from the grassroot, put the age limit of the athlete that  can feature in the sports fiesta to be 15- 29. OAU Reunion: Accounting Dept. 2001 Set Embarks On Massive Renovation, Visits Ooni (Photos)

As part of the reunion programme of the 2001 set of Management & Accounting Department of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-ife, the association has renovated several classrooms and other facilities in the Faculty of Administration.
