Osun NSCDC Commandant, Ocheja Tasks Personnel On Diligence, Discipline

The Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Osun State Command, Commandant Emmanuel Ocheja has put a robust security arrangement in place to ensure safety of lives and property in the state ahead of People's Democratic Party Governorship Congress scheduled to hold Tuesday March 8, 2022, in Osun State, 

The Commandant said this on Monday 7th March, 2022, while addressing personnel during muster parade, at the Command Headquarters, Ilesha Road, Oke Ayepe, Osogbo. He directed that all officers on special duty at the venue of the congress should discharge their duties impartially.

In a statement issued by NSCDC spokesperson, ASCII Olabisi Atanda, Commandant Ocheja stressed the need for officers to be dedicated to work as the country is dealing with prevailing security challenges. He also informed personnel to carry out the mandates of the Corps with due diligence and with no eye service. 

He added that transfer is inevitable for those who want to get to the peak of their career, and this will be done as a routine to ensure efficient service delivery by NSCDC personnel.

Commandant Ocheja explained further that discipline cannot be compromised in a regimented environment, therefore, every personnel is expected to be disciplined while discharging their duties. 

He also hinted that outstanding officers would always be rewarded for their exceptional services to ensure security of lives and property of the people of Nigeria.
